Poole Pirates boss Matt Ford praises Neil Middleditch for club's success
Poole Pirates boss Matt Ford has paid tribute to his partnership with unsung hero Neil Middleditch.
Ford believes other great coaches in the Elite League have learnt the hopes under the Poole team manager.

"So often my name gets tagged to the success, but Neil must take a huge amount of praise for the silverware and medals won by the club in 14 seasons.

"It's no surprise that former Poole riders Alun Rossiter - now Swindon team boss - and Gary Havelock - the new Coventry team manager - are part of top level management in the Elite League and have both ridden under Neil during our tenure at the club.

Middleditch's British Lions roster were due to take on Swindon tonight, but the meeting has been called off due to a flooded track.
