Poole Pirates are bookies favourites to win Elite League title
POOLE Pirates have been made the bookies favourites to take the Elite League title.
The Dorset side made a dreadful start to the season, losing six of their first eight meetings. However, the Pirates have won their last four encounters - putting them back into the playoff picture.
Coral have the Pirates down as 6/4 favourites to win the title, ahead of the Swindon Robins and Birmingham Brummies who are both at 10/3.
The Wolverhampton Wolves are down at 5/1, while the Lakeside Hammers are 9/1 to take the title.
