Poole Pirates rider Darcy Ward took victory in Freddie Lindgren's testimonial at Wolverhampton.
The Australian rider is preparing to begin his first speedway GP season as a permanent rider. He entered the testimonial as a late replacement for former World Champion Nicki Pedersen.

Ward faced stiff competition from Swindon Robins rider Hans Andersen, with the pair tying on 13 points each.
The Pirates star took the title in a run-off, despite Andersen getting the better start out of the gates.
