Poole Pirates 54-38 Eastbourne Eagles: Pawlicki stars on debut as league league increased
Teenage star Piotr Pawlicki produced a superb performance on his debut as The Poole Pirates eased to victory against The Eastbourne Eagles.
The 17-year-old took three heat wins, and dropped just one point - against seven-time British champion and former Pirate Scott Nicholls.

The Pirates now lead The Elite League by five points - thanks to Pawlicki's ten-point haul. The Pole out-scored Darcy Ward, while his fellow countryman Krzysztof Kasprzak grabbed an incredible 14 points out of 15.
The convincing scoreline perhaps flattered Poole. Although The Pirates provided 12 of the 15 race winners, they only out-scored The Eagles in five heats.

Sam Masters struggled to get going, taking his only points as he came in behind Chris Holder in the opening heat. Ricky King and Linus Eklof also struggled against Eastbourne's reserves as The Eagles went ahead.
However, back-to-back 4-2 heat wins and strong performances from Pawlicki and Ward allowed The Pirates to pull away.
Poolr are next in action on Monday when their rivals at the top of the Elite league, The Swindon Robbins visit Wimborne Road.
