Police urge jewellery owners to come forward after items recovered in Swanage
Detectives in Swanage are appealing for people to check their jewellery is not missing after a man was arrested on suspicion of theft.
A gold coloured necklace and two coins, which could possibly be medals were recovered in the town centre at around 10pm on Saturday July 21 when the arrest was made.
Detective Constable Angela Mills, of Bournemouth CID, said: "They are very distinctive and possibly of great sentimental value. We hope that someone recognises them and will help us to find the rightful owners.
"It is possible that the owners have not yet realised that this jewellery is missing.

A 38-year-old Swanage man has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
