Police chasing man after attempted burglary at Weymouth harbour
Police in Weymouth have released a description of a man they are looking for following an attempted burglary at the town's harbour area.
Officers say a man gained access to an insecure property on Hope Street between 1.55pm and 2.15pm on Wednesday, October 3, but quickly left the scene empty-handed after being disturbed.

Dorset Police have described the suspect as white, aged 40 to 50 years old, approximately 5ft 8in tall and of medium build.
He has dark hair and a distinct purple weeping sore on his face taking up the majority of his left cheek.

He spoke with a slight accent, possibly Irish, and was wearing dark clothing and a dark baseball cap.
