Cleaning up the streets thanks to helpers
CREWKERNE was looking spick and span this week thanks to the efforts of litter-picking local residents.
A group of volunteers, clad in high-visibility jackets and armed with brushes and trash grabbers hit the streets on Sunday morning.

BRIGHT IDEA: Litter-picking Crewkerne residents were out in force on Sunday to help tidy up the town.
The town wants to promote a clean and pleasant shopping experience in the run-up to Christmas, including the lighting up/late night shopping event on Friday, November 30.
Volunteer Glynnis Senior said: "The district council provided all the tools necessary and the enthusiastic helpers set out in teams to clear weeds and litter on a drizzly morning, but they soon warmed to the task as the sun came out.
