Tuesday 8th: Ferndown branch of the Royal Naval Association muster in the RBL Hall in Church Road, Ferndown 7pm - a warm welcome to any ex-RN personnel. Vanessa Honeybourne is the guest of Dorset Homeopathic Group 7.30pm Allendale Centre. Verwood Evening WI's first meeting of the new year 7.30pm in the URC Hall. Bournemouth Writers Circle meets at Pelhams, Kinson. Poole Camera Club meet 7.30pm in the Moose Hall, Jollife Road, Tatnum.
Wednesday 9th: Why not join the Blashford Lake's staff for a guide walk around the reserve with the added bonus of finishing in time for lunch: meet and park at the Alice Lisle pub 11am-1pm. Bournemouth Big Band, Swing and Jazz Club meets for the first time this year in Kinson Community Centre 7.15pm. Get into the swing of 2013 with The Soggy Biscuit Band Tea Dance at Wimborne's Allendale Centre 2.30 - 4.30pm.
Thursday 10th: Paul Sturgess gives a presentation of Dorset from coast to countryside to members of Ferndown Camera Club 7.30pm Barrington Centre. Ringwood Natural History Society meets in the Greyfriars Centre 7.30pm for an evening with Martin Noble and his New Forest reptiles. Kinson & District Country Market in the Community Centre 9.45am-noon. Another outing for CAPROW: meet 10.30am in Smugglers Road cp to walk to Hightown Common. Steve 01202 897756.
