Lottery chance to sponsor Nunney Horse Trials
NUNNEY International Horse Trials has introduced a lottery to find a title sponsor for this year's event on 14th-16th June.
This is a unique opportunity for a company to sponsor a major event for as little as £100. The organisers wants to involve more local businesses and individuals and to make sponsorship at the event affordable.
Everyone who purchases a £100 lottery ticket is entered into a draw from which the title sponsor will be drawn. They will have their name in the event programme and are invited to a party at the beginning of April when the winner will be drawn. Individual fence sponsors will also be entered into the draw.

The title sponsorship includes a table for eight in the hospitality tent on each of the three days, car passes for each guest, and on the Sunday the company's name on the number bibs for the CIC2* and official sponsorship of the CIC2* and intermediate classes, except the under 18 open intermediate. Their name will also be on banners, and advertising. A second prize is day sponsorship of Saturday, and the third ticket drawn will be day sponsor of Friday's competition.
Organiser John Colson said: "It makes sponsorship very affordable to a wide range of people, who all have an equal chance of becoming the title sponsors. The party for everyone who buys a ticket should be a lot of fun."

Dressage success for Coombe Farm Stud
AN eight year old gypsy cob stallion from Coombe Farm Stud competed against pedigree warmbloods at the British Dressage regional event at Kingston Maurward last week.
In the prelim restricted class, the 14.2hh black and white Tiger Tim, with his flowing feathers, came second and qualified for the nationals at Hartbury in April, just missing out on first place by one mark He was also second in the novice free style to music, but sadly because of a low entry of just 16 only the first placed qualified. This was a big disappointment for Tiger Tim and his rider Ali Matravers, who are now hoping for a wild card to compete at Hartbury.
