"I'm so pleased for the individuals involved and for those people at the club who helped them achieve their goal."
The club is following on from the success of Gillingham Job Club, which has helped 75 people find placements since it formed earlier in 2012.
A job club is also being planned for Shaftesbury. Premises have been secured at Toby's young people's project in the town.
Volunteers are being invited to help run the club.
Blandford Job Club meets every Friday between 10am and 1pm at the Treads building through the Museum Arch in the Market Place, Blandford.
It supports people trying to find work by helping with applications and CVs and providing interview training.
Services include signposting to training, education and benefits and looking for sources of funding and advice.
The Job Club also assists employers and other organisations by advertising their vacancies.
The club welcomes volunteers to help with tasks ranging from basic admin duties to dealing with prospective employers.
Call 07594 052439 to find out more about what the clubs offer or to get involved as a volunteer.
