There will also be a wide variety of stalls and games and then to wrap up the afternoon there will be cream teas with strawberries from nearby Glen Farm. And to add to the fun and in Jubilee spirit, there will be red, white and blue scarecrows.
Church member Peter Aston says: "The summer fete is a very popular annual event in the local calendar and it's a great way for the church to share its wonderful facilities with the local and wider community – and if the weather is poor we have plenty of indoor accommodation."
Proceeds this year will be shared between a number of local charities and church funds. For more information contact Peter Aston on 01202 825195.
