Motorcyclist hurt in horsebox crash
SHERBORNE fire fighters cleared fuel causing a potential fire hazard which leaked across the A30 by Milborne Port after a motorcycle and a horsebox were collision on Tuesday evening.
A firefighter attended to the injured motorcyclist at around 5.30pm until ambulance and fire crews arrived on the scene, close to Crackmore Rocks at the entrance to the village.
The man, in his mid-20s, was taken to Yeovil District Hospital with a "significant" leg injury, according to the ambulance service. The horse-box driver was said to be unharmed.
Crews used oil absorbing granules supplied by a nearby garage to soak up the fuel.
