Motorbike stolen following accident
A MOTORBIKE was stolen from a lay-by on the Avon Causeway sometime between 1pm on Friday 12th October and 11am on Sunday 14th October.
The two-year-old black Shineray 125cc had been left in the lay-by after the owner had been involved in a single vehicle road traffic collision on Friday morning.
Police Constable Mat Silvey, of Christchurch police, said: "It is very distressing for the victim to be firstly involved in a collision and then to have his bike stolen.
"The lay-by is on a very busy road and I am hopeful that someone witnessed the motorbike being recovered. It is possible that the offenders used another vehicle to help them steal the bike.
