Martyn Underhill leads Dorset PCC election after first round of voting
Martyn Underhill is closing in on becoming the first Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner.
The independent candidate won 44 per cent of the vote after the first round, but needed half the votes in order to win the election.

Martyn Underhill won 44 per cent of votes in Dorset
Andy Canning and Rachel Rogers have been eliminated from the vote, with the second-choice votes for Underhill and Conservative candidate Nick King now being counted.
Underhill won 43,425 votes, while King gained the backing of 31,165 residents.

Canning came in last place with 9,963 votes, behind Labour's Rogers who won 11,596 votes.
Dorset residents spoilt 2,527 ballots, with a turnout of 16.77 per cent.
