Woman threatened with gun outside Morrisons in Verwood
A 59-year-old woman was threatened with a handgun in an attempted robbery outside a Dorset supermarket.
The victim, from Wimborne, was getting into her car at Morrisons in Chiltern Drive, Verwood, at 7.25pm on Friday when the armed robber approached her and demanded money.

She screamed and refused his demand, causing him to flee the scene empty handed.
Detective Inspector Jock Mullen, of Bournemouth CID, said: "This was a very distressing incident for the victim but she bravely raised the alarm and was uninjured.

"I urge anyone who witnessed this attack, and anyone who saw someone matching this description near to the Morrisons store or running away from it, to call police as soon as possible.
"I am also appealing for anyone in the area who has private CCTV from the time of the incident or before or after to contact Dorset Police urgently."
The robber is described as a white man, 30 to 40, medium build, 12 to 13 stone, and spoke with a northern accent.
He was clean shaven and wore a black woollen hat worn low over his eyebrows with the rim turned up, black woollen gloves, and a dark jumper with a black gilet over the top.
