Man stabbed while celebrating New Year's Eve in Weymouth

A man spent the night in hospital after being stabbed on New Year's Eve in Weymouth.

A 25-year-old man from Weymouth was assaulted at the junction of Lennox Street and Walpole Street at 11.30pm.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Weymouth

The victim was taken to Dorchester County Hospital and was discharged on New Year's Day.

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Dorset Police on 101.
