Man dies after body found in sea at Alum Chine Beach in Bournemouth

A man has died after being found in the water along a Dorset beach.

Dorset Police were called to Alum Chine Beach in Bournemouth at around 7:40 this morning following a report of a person in the water outside Vesuvio Restaurant.

The man was pronounced dead upon arrival at Poole Hospital. The death is not being treated as suspicious by officers.

The man has yet to be identified as his next of kin have not been notified.
