Major landslip at Monmouth Beach near Lyme Regis
People are being urged to stay away from Monmouth beach this afternoon after a major landslip.
It is thought up to 150m of the cliff near Lyme Regis hay have fallen onto the beach.

Portland Coastguard were called to the area just before midday, and have been liaising with other agencies to keep people away from the area.
The Lyme Regis Coastguard Team has put up a temporary cordon, while people are being reminded to call 999 if the get into any trouble.

A Coastguard spokesperson said: "Lyme Regis Coastguard Rescue Team and the Coastguard Search and Rescue helicopter based at Portland were both sent to the scene to establish whether members of the public on the beach at the time had been caught in the cliff fall.
"Eye witness accounts reported to Coastguard Rescue Officers on scene and aerial surveillance quickly established that nobody was in immediate danger."
