Proms Night to aid Poppy Appeal
A NIGHT at the Proms is being held to raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The Wincanton Silver Band is hosting the charity concert at the town's Memorial Hall.
The programme includes Fantasia of British Sea Songs, Jerusalem and Land of Hope of Glory, and people are being encouraged to bring flags to wave during the show.
The concert starts at 7.30pm on Friday, November 9.
