UPDATED: Armed robbers make off with cash from Nationwide in Poole
Police are searching for armed robbers after cash was stolen from outside a Poole building society.
Between 10pm and 10.30pm on Monday September 3, two security guards were attacked by two robbers with a bladed instrument and a heavy instrument.

A cash delivery van was robbed by armed men outside Nationwide in Parkstone
The incident took place by a cash delivery van outside the Nationwide Building Society on Ashley Road, Parkstone.

The security officers were treating for minor injuries following the robbery.
The offenders made off with cash while officers carried out a search of the area with an armed response team and a helicopter.
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw anyone in the area at the time or any suspicious vehicles parked or moving off at speed to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 3:496.
