Late night attack in Weymouth leaves teenager with broken jaw
A 19-year-old man suffered a broken jaw after a late night attack in Weymouth.
Between 2am and 3am on Saturday September 22, the victim was hit with a belt and kicked by several people on Newstead Road, between the cemetery and the Abbotsbury Road junction.

The victim, from Weymouth, was treated at Poole Hospital.
The main offender is described as white and aged in his late teens. He is of slim build and was wearing a grey tracksuit at the time of the attack.

PC Charlie Forsey of Weymouth Police, said: "The offender approached the victim and hit him with a belt. This caused the victim to fall to the ground where he was then kicked by several people.
"I understand that prior to the assault, the victim and his friends had been involved in a verbal altercation with another group of young people.
"I understand that a local resident left his house and broke up the assault.
"This man has yet to be identified and I am appealing for him to contact Dorset Police as soon as possible as he may be able to help with my investigation."
