Dorset Police have released a CCTV image of a suspect after a failed robbery at a Bournemouth bank.

Officers were called to the NatWest Bank on Southbourne Grove at around 12pm on Wednesday October 24. However, no-one was injured and no money was taken.

The suspect in the CCTV image is described as aged in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately five feet six to ten inches tall and of slim build.

He was wearing a striped top, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Detective Constable Mark Portelli of Bournemouth CID said: "I am appealing to anyone who knows the man in the CCTV footage to contact us as soon as possible.

"If anyone recognises him or has any information that can assist the police with their enquiries, please contact Dorset police or Crimestoppers in the strictest confidence on 101."
