Honest eleven-year-old returns rings found inside Kath Kidston bag in Christchurch
The rightful owner of two rings found in a bag bought in Christchurch are being urged to come forward.
A 11-year-old girl found the jewellery inside a Cath Kidston bag she purchased from the Lavender and Bay shop on Wick Lane on Sunday January 19.
One of the rings is described as a white gold solitaire style ring with a white stone and the other is a pale yellow wedding band.
Police Constable Dave Williams of Christchurch Police said: "The young girl was very concerned that the owner of the rings would be upset at their loss and immediately returned to the shop having discovered them.

"The proprietor of the store has no idea how they came to be in the bag and is keen to see them reunited with the person who has lost them.
"I am appealing for anyone who is missing rings of this description and I would also urge anyone who has visited this shop recently to check that they have not lost them.
"I would like to commend both the young girl and the shop proprietor for following the right course of action by contacting us."
Anyone with information should contact Dorset Police on 101 and ask to speak to PC Dave Williams of Christchurch Police.
