Walls game talk
HISTORY fans in Wincanton will be treated to an illustrated talk this month.
Local historian Roger Ford will give a talk to the Wincanton and District Museum and History Society on Friday, February 22.
The event will take place in the Balsam Centre from 7.30pm.
Mr Ford will talk about The Fives Wall 1800-1815, referring to the traditional Somerset game played both in and against the walls of churches.
