Heavy rain could bring more localised flooding to Dorset

More heavy rain is set to sweep across Dorset tomorrow as the Met Office warns of possible flooding.

A statement from the Met Office said: "Further rain, heavy at times, will spread northeast across the region during Thursday.

"With the ground already saturated and rivers running high the public should be aware that there is a risk of localised flooding and disruption to travel."

Up to 15mm of rain could fall within an hour, with the possibly that 30mm could fall in the space of three hours tomorrow. As much as 40mm to 50mm could fall in the wettest places.
