Halloween horror raises funds for YCT
MEMBERS of the Youth Cancer Trust fundraising team joined in the fun at the Kids Charity Halloween Evening organised at the Haskins Garden Centre in Ferndown. Over 400 children, many in themed fancy dress, paid a £1 each to enjoy games and activities including face painting, spooky storytelling and the haunted trail through the outdoor plants area.
Six year old Ethan from Three Legged Cross was the winner of the children's fancy dress competition with four-year-olds Chloe from Bournemouth and Ella from Ferndown as runners up.

The total raised, including donations from visitors, was £800. Derek Smith, events & fundraising manager at Youth Cancer Trust, said:
"We are grateful to the Haskins team and their customers for their support and generosity. We also raised an additional £600 thanks to the donation of 30 trees at our 15th anniversary ball. The money raised will help us provide free activity holidays for young cancer patients from all over the UK at Tracy Ann House at Alum Chine, Bournemouth."
