And with Poole Tourism’s partner attractions hosting a jam packed week of fabulous events there’s plenty to keep children entertained and inspire their creativity.
Get out and enjoy the autumn colours with fancy dress bat walks at Poole’s Upton Country Park, Harvest Hunts at Compton Acres Gardens, den making and archery activity days, Red Squirrel walks and Famous Five adventures on Brownsea Island. There’s even an eerie evening walk with spooky tales of Brownsea’s past followed by hotdogs and hot chocolate to help you recover.
The Circus comes to town as Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts hosts a fabulous free family Circus extravaganza on 27 October with workshops, back stage tours and pop up performances. After learning juggling, the trapeze and clown tricks, see the professionals in action as Lille based Le Prato perform the very best French circus artists in Soiree de Gala on 29-30 October. There’s plenty of action throughout the week with the chance to dance like the animals and perform with the Mini Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra or experience children’s theatre with a celebration of food in Yummm!, see the power of dreams in Arthur’s Dream Boat and learn about the Spanish Civil War in Toro!
