Gillingham toddler's 'Crazy Chicken' painting helps charity
A TODDLER from Gillingham is doing her bit for charity by selling a painting on an online auction site.
The artwork, entitled Crazy Chicken, has already attracted dozens of bids long before the deadline.
And mum Paulette Miller hopes the picture created by her 15-month-old daughter Indie at their Wyke home will raise enough to make a difference to the charity, Reuben's Retreat.
She said: "Indie loves painting - as soon as she gets up in the morning that's what she wants to do.

"She doesn't bother with brushes - it's all done with hands in the paint.
"We thought this one looked like a sort of crazy chicken and said to her 'Shall we put it on eBay, Indie?' and she said 'yes'.
"So that's what we did. But it was a bit of a shock to see it's got so many bids so quickly."
By Tuesday the painting had attracted 39 bids and reached £36.
Bidding ends on Wednesday lunchtime.
The entry on the auction website shows a picture of Indie with her painting. It was taken by her father, Graham Hookins.
Paulette said they chose the charity Reuben's Retreat, which was set up in memory of a little boy who died aged 23 months from a rare brain tumour.
His parents want to establish a holiday home in the north west of England as a break for families who have lost a child or have a child with a life-threatening illness.
Paulette said: "I heard about the charity and I think what that family are doing is so amazing when they've been through such a traumatic time.
"We just want to raise as much as possible for the charity thanks to our little girl's painting."
Find out more about the charity on the www.reubensretreat.org website. To place a bid on Indie's painting go to eBay and search for indie chicken.
