Gillingham Town continue winning start with late penalty against Willand Rovers
A PENALTY from Lee Gale ensured Gillingham Town continued their winning start to the season against Willand Rovers.
The visitors to Hardings Lane took the lead midway through the first period, thanks to Jules Emati-Emati.
Despite trailing at the break, the Gills drew level immediately after the restart. A free kick from Aaron Rodriguez found Jack Vallis who equalised for the Dorset side.
With time running out, Gillingham were awarded a penalty - with Gale firing home to continue the Gills' winning start to their Western League Premier Division campaign.
