Free half term activity in Sherborne tomorrow
YOUNGSTERS can take part in a free BMX jam tomorrow in Sherborne.
Children aged eight to 16 can take part in the two hour session, taking place on a mobile skate park at the Gryphon Leisure Centre between 10am and midday.
During the jams there will be introductions to the techniques of BMXing and competitions with the chance to win prizes will take place.
The event is part of a list of half term activities organised in the county by West Dorset District Council.

Those who own BMX bikes, protection pads and helmets are encouraged to bring them as limited equipment is available.
Amelia Hooley, the district council's sports development officer, said: "These are the first ever BMX jams that we have held.
"BMXing was showcased in the Olympics and we were inspired to get young people to give a new sport a go.
"The district council always tries to look at new sports and initiatives to get people to try out new sports and live a healthy lifestyle."
