Folk musician Dusty Stray to appear at White Hart Wimborne
DUSTY Stray (aka Jonathan Brown) is an Amsterdam based Texan has been performing across the world for many years. He has paid particular focus upon Dorset, where there is resonance with his dark observational folksy humour. Having appeared at the Folk Festival Fringe for the past six years he makes a welcome, mid season return to The White Hart for a gig to raise funds for The Gunstone Trust.
Dusty's latest release “Family Album” has achieved great praise from respected sources:
“Astonishingly beautiful songs that everyone in the world should hear” KRAMER
“It’s all delightfully dark and the trick of allying beautiful and tapalong music to dark words has rarely been performed as well” AMERICANA UK

Supporting act GWILLIUM a local and unique sounding combo who could be described as ALT-J meets MUMFORD & SONS and they end up going to the Kebab shop in search of vegetarian sustenance. They are talented beyond all menus.
The evening will be hosted by DJ Dapper Dan (aka www.rocknrolltowncrier.com) who was last seen spinning tunes at Camp Bestival
There will be a collection for THE GUNSTONE TRUST and apart from personal guilt it is an entirely free evening of musical delight!
