Flood warning issued in Charmouth
Rising river levels have prompted a flood warning for residents in Charmouth today.
The Environment Agency says there could be some localised flooding in the village due to heavy rain overnight.
There is also a possible threat to some vulnerable riverside properties in the county.
The warning, issued just after 6am this morning, is for The Street in Charmouth, including Catherston Cottages, Robyns Nest, Neighbridge Cottage and Kingfishers.

Rising water levels in the River Char were expected to peak by 7am.
The Environment Agency says its teams are working around the clock to monitor river levels and help reduce the risk of flooding.
Since yesterday, flood warnings have been issued to more than 7,000 properties across the country.
An Environment Agency spokesman said: "Our thoughts are with those people whose homes have been flooded.
"There is a low risk of some localised flooding on Sunday across parts of southwest England due to heavy rain, so we urge people to remain vigilant.
"People can check the Environment Agency website for updates and sign up for localised flood warnings for rivers.
"We also urge the public to stay away from fast-flowing, swollen rivers and not to drive through floodwater."
Anyone concerned can call the agency's floodline on 0845 988 1188, select option 1 and enter Quickdial number 166000 to get more information.
