Flood warning to drivers after woman trapped in car near Sturminster Newton
People are being warned not to make unnecessary journeys after a woman had to be rescued when her car became trapped in floodwater near Sturminster Newton this morning.
Crews from Sturminster Newton, Shaftesbury and a specialist rescue unit from Poole were called to Hammoon at 9.30am and assisted with removing the car from the water.
