Fishermans Friend cancel Poole Lighthouse concert after death of Trevor Grills and Paul McMullen

Cornish band Fishermans Friend have cancelled their concert at Poole's Lighthouse after the death of their singer and tour manager.

A Lighthouse spokesperson said: "We regret to announce that the concert of Fishermans Friend on the 5th April at Lighthouse, Poole has been cancelled due to the recent tragedy that led to the deaths of singer Trevor Grills and Tour Manager Paul McMullen.

"Lighthouse's thoughts are with the families and friends of the band.

"Customers are asked to apply to the ticket office for full refunds."

Mr Grills and Mr McMullen died after being hit by a falling metal door at a concert in Guildford, Surrey last week.
