Firearms law reforms spare farmers' guns

Shooters in the West have largely welcomed the recommendations on changes to Britain's firearms laws in the wake of the Cumbria shootings.

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation said it was pleased suggestions to make it harder for farmers to continue using guns had been rejected.

BASC director Bill Harriman said he was pleased 900 shooters had made submissions.
