Fined for bringing hens to stag party
Two brothers who took six live chickens to a friend’s stag party wound up in court accused of mistreating the creatures after two died.
Craig and Bradley Barnett put the hens in the hotel room of the groom-to-be at the start of the night out in Bournemouth.
But later, several members of the group threw the chickens out of their hotel after returning in the early hours of July 22 last year.
One of the chickens was killed by a fox and a second was later also found dead.
