Failed robbery in Poole after offender has altercation with shopkeeper
An attempted robbery at a Poole shop saw the offender leave empty-handed after an altercation with the shopkeeper.
At around 7am on Monday October 29, a man entered the Premier Store on the town's High Street and threatened a member of staff. The man pretended to buy items at the counter, before demanding money from the till.

The offender left empty handed after a run-in with the shopkeeper outside the store.
"Detective Constable Sara Butler of Poole and Bournemouth CID said: "I am appealing for witnesses and anyone with information about this incident to contact Dorset Police urgently.

"Nobody was injured and no money was stolen during this attempted robbery.
"The offender was a white man believed to be aged in his thirties, around five-foot ten-inches tall, and wearing a cream coloured anorak, dark trousers and white trainers."
The man, who walked with a slight limp - walked off via Carters Lane. He was also seen before the incident at around 6.50am in the Chapel Lane area of the town.
