Enter the Wimborne Pancake Race 2013

The 16th annual pancake race takes place around Wimborne Minster on Shrove Tuesday, 12th February.

Competitors should report to the north porch by 10.30am complete with frying pan and ready cooked pancake.
The pancake bell tolls at 11am heralding the start of the first race.

Challengers over 18 can win The Old Bakehouse Café Perpetual Challenge Cup and become the Minster Pancake Champion 2013. The winner will also receive a trophy from the Stour and Avon Magazine.
The former owners of the Old Bakehouse Café in Leigh Road, Martyn and Kathy Curtler, are once again donating a prize of £25 to the winning school/playgroup in a relay race.
In addition Mr Ken Holloway will again present a prize of £25 to the first junior, under18, to cross the winning line in the final of the individual junior's race.
There will also be a wheelchair race and the Wimborne Pet Centre will donate a bag of wild bird food to the winner.
