Electrical faults fixed in Sherborne
Electrical faults causing power cuts earlier this month in Sherborne have now been repaired.
Around 24 homes in Sherborne, on Lower Acreman Street, the Abbey Close, and Acreman Place, found themselves without power on three occasions overnight due to an electrical fault in a low voltage underground cable located at Durrant Close.
Hannah Gleave, of South Electric power distribution, said teams were called to repair the cable during the third power cut.
She said: "The fault is now fixed and should not be a problem again.
