"It was a relief for everyone, particularly the supporters because that was a big one for them. With the way they set up, the key was always to be patient and the players showed that quality."

Bournemouth face Crewe Alexandra tomorrow night as the Cherries focus their attention on the automatic promotion places in League One.

Bournemouth are fourth in the table, level on points with third-placed Swindon Town. Tranmere Rovers and Doncaster Rovers are only one point ahead of both Bournemouth and Swindon.

"We've only lost one in 22 league games which is a great run to be on" added Bournemouth midfielder Marc Pugh.

"We have the belief now that we will be there or thereabouts. We can't lessen any of the focus though and really push on.

"At this stage, winning instead of drawing is massive. It means that teams fear us and try to lock up shop. We are a patient team though and things are going just as we want them to."
