Eddie Howe: Cherries 'showed what good footballers we have' against Wigan Athletic
AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes the Cherries showed their true potential against Premier League side Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
The Dorset side shared a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup third round tie at The DW Stadium - forcing a replay at The Goldsands Stadium next week.

Speaking to the club's official website, Howe said: "We did show what good footballers we have.
"I think we had the best chances in the game. Wigan hit the bar a couple of times from long range, but Shwan (Jalal) didn't have too much to do and their keeper was the busier by far.

"On another day, we could have taken another of the chances we had, but we can't complain about the result and the opportunity to take them on at home."
The Cherries took a first half lead thanks to Eunan O'Kane's drive, before Jordi Gomez equalised after the break, following up his own penalty attempt - which was saved by Jalal.
The winner of the replay will visit Macclesfield Town in the FA Cup fourth round.
AFC Bournemouth will concentrate on their League One campaign on Saturday when they face fellow promotion candidates Swindon Town.
