East Stour village plan
A NEW Village Plan has been circulated to all 280 households in East Stour.
The 28-page document is the result of more than 18 months' activity by committee members.
The plan features schemes including a local history project, highway speed reduction, a map of local walks, the formation of a fuel buying group and improving television and broadband reception.
Suggestions have been collected since the initial open day on May 2011. A questionnaire with more than 100 questions has also enabled residents, businesses and local organisations to make a contribution to the draft plan, which was revealed in October.

A spokesman for the Village Plan Committee said: "When villagers have digested the contents of the action plan, they are invited to contact the named leaders of any of the 40 actions in which they are interested. David Little, the Action Plan Coordinator, will endeavour to facilitate the working groups that will emerge to develop improvements to life in East Stour."
