Drugs bust in Upton
POLICE in Upton have enforced a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address in Roberts Way – following community concerns about drug taking and anti-social behaviour.

A small quantity of methadone was discovered and seized from the address.
Police Constable Nicki Chalstrey, of Wareham Police, said: "Upton is a very safe place and we want to keep it that way. We take all complaints very seriously and will continue to work closely with our communities and partners.
"I want to send out a clear message to those who sell and use Class A drugs that Dorset Police will not tolerate this activity and we will continue to take positive action where necessary.
"I'd urge residents and landlords who have concerns to contact us on 101."
A 25-year-old man from Upton has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
