A man was taken to Salisbury Hospital with a serious head injury after his car hit a telegraph pole in Shaftesbury.
A blue Landrover Discovery overturned after colliding with the pole at Foyle Hill near St James' Church.

Emergency services were called to the scene at lunchtime today, but the injured driver was already out of his vehicle.
He was suffering from a serious head injury, and the air ambulance was requested to take him to hospital.
