Two double-decker buses became wedged together for almost five hours in a narrow Lyme Regis street – making the Dorset town almost a no-through zone.

The Coastlinx and First Group buses became stuck when trying to pass each-other in Church Street, the main road through Lyme, yesterday. Trouble seemed at an end when one of the buses was lifted out. But more delays were caused when the other had a flat battery.
