Dorset vandals throw paint on parked cars in Shaftesbury
A WOMAN has spoken of her shock and anger after vandals attacked her car with paint in a Shaftesbury road.
Sally Wagner said white gloss paint was thrown over her car and another one parked nearby in Lindlar Close on Wednesday evening last week.

She said: "It was like a nightmare. I saw the paint on another car first and didn't realise it was on mine as well till I went round the front.
"It was on the windscreen as well. I managed to wipe some paint off so I could see to drive home.
"Luckily, it hadn't dried and my husband was able to clean it off with petrol but it took quite a time."
Mrs Wagner and the other driver had been using Lindlar Hall and believe the attack happened between about 7.20pm and 9pm.
She said: "You just don't expect this to happen in a quiet road. It was a real shock.
"I hope it wasn't anything personal against me. We had heard children running about and banging on the hall windows so I don't know if they had anything to do with it or whether it was someone fed up with people parking near the hall.
"There is no doubt it was deliberate. Whoever did it must have got paint on themselves so someone will know who did it.
"I am annoyed and angry about it. I'm relieved there was no real lasting damage."
Mrs Wagner went to the police the next morning to report the vandalism to her Discovery and to the Peugeot estate that was also attacked.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "This sort of incident is extremely unusual in Shaftesbury. Criminal damage is more typical in urban areas.
"We would appeal to anyone who say anything suspicious or knows know may have done this to contact Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 10:88 or call the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555111.
"It is possible that whoever did this had paint on their clothes and someone may have noticed it."
