Dorset tourism centres nominated for awards
POOLE Welcome Centre is amongst three information centres in Dorset to be selected as a finalist in the first-ever Dorset Tourism Awards, to be held on 24th October at the Tank Museum in Bovington
The other two are the Purbeck Information Centre in Wareham and the
Lyme Regis Tourist Information Centre.
Successful nomination followed intense scrutiny by the judging panel. They carried out mystery shopping surveys of the Information Centres, checking they satisfy a number of qualification requirements, including innovation, customer service and use of technology and social media.
