Dorset snow: A35 shut along with main roads in Poole
Roads across Dorset are shut following heavy snow - with motorists urged to avoid minor county roads.

The A35 is shut from Dorchester to Bridport, while there are long delays from Bere Regis to Dorchester.
In Poole, Herbert Avenue, Alder Road and Ringwood Road are blocked.

Superintendent Dave Thorp of Dorset Police said: "The roads in Dorset, especially west of the county have been affected by the severe weather conditions.
"I urge anyone who is planning on travelling on the roads today to please reconsider and only travel if there is no other option.
"In particular, please do not take minor or country roads if it is possible to avoid them."
