Dorset seahorse midwife on Korean mission
Dorset-based seahorse expert Emily Madge has successfully overseen the birth of 24 baby weedy seadragons at an aquarium in South Korea.
Emily, dubbed the seahorse midwife, is curator of seahorses for the Sea Life network, based at Weymouth Sea Life Park.

Just over a week ago she flew to Busan to help at the anticipated birth of Asia’s first ever baby seadragons.
Emily travelled to Melbourne last year to learn the secrets of breeding weedy seadragons from experts at Melbourne Aquarium, home of one of the world’s top breeding programmes.
