Dorset garden 'trough' turned out to be valuable Roman relic

A highly important Roman marble sarcophagus found in a Dorset garden has sold at auction for £96,000 at Duke’s of Dorchester.

The owners were using the sarcophagus as an ornamental trough beside a small terrace.
